These Terms govern your access to and use of transcribe.vicbusiness.com (the "Site") and the transcription services provided by VIC Business Solutions Pty Ltd ("we", "us", or "our", ABN: [Your ABN]). By accessing or using the Site or Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or Services.
1. Our Services
We provide AI-powered audio/video transcription services. You upload audio files, and we return machine-generated transcripts.
- Transcripts are provided on an "as is" basis.
- Accuracy depends on audio quality, accents, background noise, etc. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy.
- Pricing is displayed on the Site and is subject to change with notice.
- We use third-party AI providers. Your data may be processed by them under our agreements.
2. User Accounts
You must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for all activity under your account and keeping credentials secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.
3. User Content and Your Responsibilities
You retain ownership of your uploaded audio and resulting transcripts ("User Content").
By uploading, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process, store, analyse, and use your User Content solely to provide and improve the Services.
You warrant that:
- You own or have all necessary rights, consents, and permissions to upload the audio (including recording consents under applicable laws).
- Your User Content does not infringe any third-party rights (copyright, privacy, etc.).
- You will not upload illegal, harmful, or sensitive content unless you have full legal authority.
4. Prohibited Uses
You must not:
- Use the Services for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws (including privacy, copyright, or recording consent laws).
- Upload copyrighted material without permission.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, or disrupt the Services.
- Resell or commercially exploit the Services without our permission.
5. Intellectual Property
The Site, technology, and our branding are our exclusive property. Transcripts we generate for you may be used by you for your own purposes, subject to these Terms.
6. Payments and Refunds
Payments are processed via Square. All fees are non-refundable except as required by Australian Consumer Law. We may offer credits or adjustments for technical issues at our discretion.
7. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access at any time for violations. You may cancel your account anytime, but prepaid fees are generally non-refundable.

9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your User Content, or your violation of any law.

11. Changes to Terms
